THE MORNING AFTER
THE DAY BEFORE
HOWARD DEAN
AS A CANDIDATE FOR THE
2004 DEMOCRATIC
PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION
Okay, so Howard Dean had problems. But he also had a point. Where today is the candidate from "the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party"?
The realities of the debt ceiling deal has left observers asking whether Barack Obama is just overmatched -- a "rock star" not ready for prime time -- or acting on some unarticulated basic principles which place him as definitely not from the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party.
