The current and future Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, claims not to have a stealth program to lurch radically rightward in a "traditionally liberal Canada," even now that his Conservative party has won 167 seats out of 308 in a majority-powerful Parliament.
Nonetheless, according to the AP, one political science professor is already calling Harper "a transformative figure in Canadian history."
