NBC Universal has big plans for Stephen King's epic DARK TOWER series, which the Financial Times says "has sold more than 30m copies in 40 countries and is considered Mr King’s answer to the Lord of the Rings trilogy by JRR Tolkien and the Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis."
